Kiki and Bouba Craft Lab
Kiki & Bouba Craft Lab started in our shared studio when we looked around and realized we were surrounded by years of collected tools, materials, and half-finished ideas. While it took us years to build our collection, we wanted to offer others the opportunity to share and learn without having to amass their own pile of art supplies. Drawing from decades of crafting and high-end design experience, we now create multidisciplinary projects that push beyond traditional craft stereotypes.
We started our Kiki & Bouba classes as a place for people to learn the foundations of a craft and leave with a finished piece they designed and made themselves. Our classes are intentionally small. We choose to teach more challenging, hands-on skills to a few people at a time so everyone gets individual attention and full creative freedom. There are no pre-made kits or assembly-line projects here. Every student designs their own piece from start to finish.
Kiki & Bouba Craft Lab is not an event space. This is our privately owned studio where we spend our days experimenting, building, and developing new craft ideas when we’re not teaching classes. We’re also not a paint-and-sip. Our workshops are process-driven, skill-based, and designed for people who want to actually learn how things are made, not just follow steps.
